Social Honey, have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Commercial Director with experience in building and managing both Sales and Marketing teams to join a company at the cutting edge of innovation in the publishing and media sector. This is an opportunity to build and grow Sales and Marketing operations for a winning product from an experience tech team.
Reporting to the CEO, you will have full responsibility for the Sales and Marketing teams and will drive the strategy to grow the brand and the product range. You will have key responsibility for increasing market share in new and existing markets.
Key challenges that the role will face will include sitting at board level to ensure Company and Revenue Management strategies are in place, Sales Process Management, Brand Management as well as Team Management and progression.
* Full ownership for driving both the Sales and Marketing Strategies
* Budgeting and forecasting and preparation and presenting of annual budgets
* Configure manage and support the Sales and Marketing teams to achieve sales targets in line with annual sales budget and strategic
* Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales department, while maintaining focus on the company’s overall strategic goals
* Provide a strategic input at Board Level
* Development of the Strategic Marketing Plan with a heavy focus on customer relationship management tools and data capture
* Rolling out a targeted marketing plan based on consumer insights.
* Drive customer loyalty through the brand
* You will need to have a deep understanding of consultative selling and have 5+ years’ experience at senior management/director level
* Experience working in the publishing and media sector
* Excellent people management experience teams of 10 plus including senior management
* Board level experience
