  1. Wake up to an alarm at the same time

Not to mention that it gives you a sense of urgency and direction in your day. After a while, your body will get used to this and automatically do it by itself.

2. Set a daily objective

When you set an objective for the day, think of it as a daily goal. This gives you a feeling of control in your days. Whether it be a small task such as running errands or a bigger project to complete. This gives a sense of direction and control in your day. Planning ahead is also beneficial, as it gives a level of prioritization in your day. Setting and completing objectives allows for small wins everyday which builds momentum and a feeling of accomplishment at the end of the day.

3. Stay off technology

When waking up, it is easy to grab your phone and scroll through endless feeds on your social media. This is one of the biggest distractions that wastes your time. When staying off technology, your mind is much more clear, you have more time to focus on yourself, gives room for a more effective routine and ultimately you will feel less obligated to check your phone throughout the day. Instead of immediately reacting to notifications on your phone, take care of yourself by focusing on what you need to do in real life.

4. Stay Hydrated

5. Make your bed

Right away, start your day off on the right foot. This simple task only takes a few minutes, but will improve your productivity for the entire day. If you slack off and avoid your first responsibility, you will be tempted in doing so the rest of the day.

6. Take a cold shower

Although everyone enjoys a warm, relaxing shower, they do not have as many health benefits a cold one. Turning down the temperature can provide surprising benefits to both your body. Instantly it increases your alertness, followed by increasing your immunity, circulation and skin.

7. Eat a nutritious breakfast

Starting off your day with a healthy breakfast is a huge step in the right direction. This does not mean foods with high amounts of calories and no nutrients. Instead, prepare healthy foods to propel your energy levels for the rest of the day. Your body runs on the foods that you feed it, so it’s only right to start off by giving it the best fuel possible.
