01 Nov The Silicon Stroll Event
The Silicon Stroll Bootcamp Event took place this week on November 3rd and 4th. It brought 50 of Europe’s most innovative and investable ICT start-ups to Dublin to meet with tech giants Google, PayPal and IBM. After which they went head to head in pitch battles to investor panels to secure a cash prize on the second day of the event.
Day 1 was a busy day with all 160+ participants sticking to a strict deadline to ensure they got the most out of each stop off on their Tech tour. There was great interaction and feedback on Twitter with #SiliconStroll instantaneously trending. Day 1 finished off at The Gravity Bar in the Guinness Storehouse with all attendees enjoying some famous ‘Irish grub’ and a few cool pints of Guinness until well into the evening!
On Day 2, all participants enjoyed a hearty breakfast provided by Byron Catering in the GEC.
