Are you sitting on a brilliant business idea but don’t have the funds to get it started? Have you considered entering a Startup Competition to win the funding and mentorship to launch your business?
Join JCI Dublin Southside on Weds, 13 of July in the Talbot Hotel Stillorgan from 7pm to learn more from AIB, Bank of Ireland and LEO on their respective Startup competitions. Their MC for the night is Eoin Costello, founder of Startup Ireland. He will present a short overview of the Irish Startup ecosystem, the opportunities available to entrepreneurs and where to get started.
The keys to winning these competitions are also the fundamentals to running a successful business. JCI Dublin are delighted to be joined by a panel of industry experts who will share their insights on forming a company and leading it to success. Stephen Stynes, of MindsetDynamics will overview what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur. Roisin Prizeman of BusinessBuddy.ie, a leading financial advisory service to Startups in South Dublin will be sharing her tips on creating a business plan which wows the judges. Making your elevator pitch sing will be discussed by Andrew Keogh, of Aristo, who has coached many startups in their pitches to secure funding and clients.

Junior Chamber International is a global network of young professionals and entrepreneurs in their 20s and 30s. JCI Dublin Southside meets regularly for workshops and seminars on the second Wednesday of each month. They also run a number of projects, such as the Friendly Business Awards (nominate a business you love for an award!) and host the occasional social event (they’re taking to the high seas with Dublin Bay Cruises and Blackwater Gin this August on the JCI Networking Cruise)
