The mission for this series of events which we launched last November here in the GEC, is to develop a network of support among Kerry’s business diaspora to enhance prosperity in the county through co-operation, knowledge sharing, creativity, inspiration and a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem.

At Prosper Kerry, we shall hear about Kerry’s hugely significant wins in the Regional Enterprise Development Fund. We’ll hear from Kerry entrepreneurs Go Yeti,Southern Scientific,Free Bird Club and we’ll be joined by Kerry entrepreneur Luke Moriarty. Luke, a native of Killorglin, moved to Dublin in 1976. Following a number of years earning his stripes in the retail trade he opened his first SuperValu store in Crumlin Village in 1987. The Moriarty Group today, a family run business employs 650+ people across three SuperValu centres, Palmerstown, Balbriggan & Skerries and two hotels, the Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan and the Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip as well as various other businesses & property interests.
