JCI Dublin Southside are opening their Networking Skills Workshop to professionals and business owners on a 2-hour boat trip around Dublin Bay. All are invited aboard.

Business owner Adrian Corcoran will run his workshop “How To Talk With Strangers” – a practical networking workshop for people who are lost when it comes to networking a room, or just want to brush up.

Dr. Adrian Corcoran is the co-owner and director of Attilk Designs web design and also a Director Consultant with BNI (Business Network International). Over the last eight years, through networking and word of mouth,  Adrian, along with co-director Karen McCrann, has grown the business from a sole tradership to a busy agency with a full time team of five. Through BNI, Adrian trains business owners on how to use networking and word of mouth to professionally promote and grow their business.

We’ll also be learning about the “The Business of Gin” with Blackwater Gin, a startup distillery on the Blackwater River in West Waterford. Based on the same spices and botanic imported in the mid 1800s by Whites of Waterford, their new Gins have been a journey of discovery and nostalgia. With samples included in the ticket, they will take passengers through the types, flavours and tones that make up a great gin.

Departing from Dun Laoghaire Pier on Saturday the 6th of August. Tickets available by emailing president@jcisouthside.org to reserve your spot or via www.JCINetworkingCruise.Eventbrite.com

Ticket includes gin cocktails, 2 hours of networking and prizes for the best maritime puns.
Your event hosts are Junior Chamber International, a network for young professionals, entrepreneurs and active citizens in their 20s and 30s. The network has over 200,000 members worldwide and is affiliated with the UN and International Chamber of Commerce.
